Governor’s son won best in show at the 2018 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show!

Governor is still the #1 Bichon Frise in breed with 384 Bichons defeated. He is the #1 Bichon Frise in AKC National Championship standings with 451 points and Governor has moved up to #4 in all-breed with 3259 dogs defeated. I am just one proud little Mama!

Governor has had a incredible year. He has been the number 1 bichon in breed for the first six months of 2012. He won a best in show specialty (BISS) on Sunday May 27, 2012 under the respected judge and Bichon breeder, Mrs. Deedy Sorenson at the Western Pennsylvania Bichon Club (hosted by Trumbull County Kennel Club, Inc). What an honor! On August 11, 2012, at the Arkansas Kennel Club show held in Little Rock, Arkansas, Governor won breed under Mr. Cledith M. Wakefield, a Group 1 under Mrs. Kathleen M. Grosso and Best in Show (BIS) under Mrs. Doris Elaine Werdermann. Then on Sunday, August 12, 2012, Governor won the breed and a group 1 under Mr. Vincent T. Grosso and reserve Best in Show under Mr. William Cunningham. Holy Cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a Fabulous Weekend! Ellen and Governor———-You absolutely ROCK!
Governor’s 2011 Stats
Governor finished 2011 as number 6 all breed bichon with 1298 dogs defeated and number 10 breed bichon with 138 bichons frises defeated. An impressive record not to mention that he did not even start showing as a special until the end of June.
