Eve (CH Belle Creek New Beginnings of Glenleigh)

Eve is the “it” of any bichon game. She is the center of fun. She loves it. She is also my pantry buddy. She has very eclectic taste and very discrete when slipped a morsel. Evie has a happy tail that rarely stops. She is vey ready for anything the day might bring. Consequently, I call her my “Eager Eve’r Beaver” which is often shortened to just “Beaver.” Eve loves puppies and has made mothering her life study. She mimes every move she sees a real dog mom perform, even standing over the puppies to keep them safe from the ceiling monsters. Eve’s gift is joy and an enthusiastic tail wag.

Lollipop (CH Glenleigh Sweet Medallion)

Lollipop is the only puppy who named herself. I was thinking about naming her Marigold or Taffy. When I caller her, she would just give me a crusty look then look away. I finally figured out she did not like those names. After a list of failed names, I said Lollipop and she bounded over to me and licked me telling me I finally knew her name. She comes 100% of the time to Lollipop, no training needed. Lollipop is very sweet and the most like her mother of all of Cameo’s daughters. Lollipop does not run very often but when she does, she is the fastest. Lollipop’s gift is snuggling.

Ellie (CH Glenleigh Ellice Medallion)

Ellie is my loveable nemesis. She is the only puppy who barked at me when her eyes first opened. When I did not put her back with her mom, she stared me down then she starting yelping like I was pulling her extremities from her body causing her mom to run to her rescue. She pulled that act repeatedly when she did not want to be handled. I told her she was to be the first puppy sold but she told me and was the pick puppy of the litter. Ellie and I have been fight for the CEO position ever since. I often refer to her as Ellie Trump. Ellie does not share, especially attention. She is my only bichon who likes to talk to me. Ellie’s gift is true devotion and lots of “Ellie” stories.

Rosie (CH Glenleigh Rose Medallion)

Rosie was naturally athletic as a very young puppy, leaping over objects like a ballerina with her legs extended while her other littermates were still carefully staggering around. Rosie is my dog without borders. Rosie can leap over any dog fence with a single bound and she does not even need a running start. Rosie is a problem-solver, which in itself is a problem. Keeping items not intended for Rosie out of reach is challenging. She is also my great huntress. Lizards, birds and bats beware. Her other job is my best friend. She is also known as a career mom when she had puppies. She kept up her other jobs of BFF and hunting in addition to carrying for the young ones. Rosie is as flirtatious as she is mischievous. Rosie’s gift is laughter and companionship.

Mira (CH PaRay’s Premier Legacy)

Mira (Mee-ra) is co-owned by Dr. Daniel and Glenda Blue. She is cute and she is fun. As a puppy, I called her Agent WW (WW stands for wild woman). Mira is a four-letter word that I use frequently. Mira loves water and mud. Mira is champion at creating mud from scratch and spreading mud everywhere for all to enjoy. She prides herself in maintaining a stray-quality coat. In addition to the sport of digging in all of the water bowls, Mira also excels in tug-of-war. It is impossible to fold linens, move garden hoses, or carry other assorted objects without resistance with Mira’s total body weight. Mira loves puppies. Mira has an outstanding gallop and her gait is on the same par as her gallop. Mira’s gift is fun and zest.

Mira and I are forever thankful for all the support Dr. Daniel and Glenda Blue provided during Mira’s compaign.  Having Dan and Glenda on the team made Mira’s “tour de force” an unbelievable great adventure.  PaRay Professional Handling did a terrific job of presentation not to mention breeding a great little lassie.  My gratitude is truly heartfelt to Glenda, Dan, Paul Flores, Tray Pittman, Camille Bakker and all of the judges who evaluated Mira.

Cameo (CH Legend’s Mystical Medallion)

Cameo is my first show dog.  I purchased Cameo the year after one of my pet bichons frises died.  Cameo brought back the sunshine into our home.  She is very sweet and gentle.  Cameo dreams happy dreams as demonstrated by a happy wagging tail while dreaming.  She loves to play and is in the play position more often than not.  Even as a puppy, she has always been the “good” dog and she rarely gets into trouble.  Cameo is a perfect mother.  I have many stories of the mothering feats Cameo has performed in caring and educating her puppies.  Cameo is very devoted loyal companion.  Not only is Cameo elegant when she moves, she is the clean, white, dry dog.  She is always a lady.  Cameo’s gift is peace and tranquility.
